Trip to Bellingham to Provision the Boat

Took the 625am ferry from Lopez to Anacortes, and then drove north to Bellingham to shop for provisions for the boat.  The sunrise from the ferry was stunning!

We drove north to Bellingham to shop for shelf food, among other things...

A new "Man-Grill" for Jerry, the "engine" of our shopping cart train.

Food, bedding, towels, etc.
Two shopping carts FULL!

Stopping for lunch at Boundary Bay, where we got another "growler" of IPA for Jerry.

After lunching, we went to the consignment Marine/Boating store, where Paul shopped for foul-weather gear...

OMG, I think the Jolly Green Giant shops here!

Yes, my shoe was still on my foot and able to get into this giant boot!

Too Cool, Rapper Paul or
a guest spot on "Deadliest Catch!"
"Yo baby, why buy new when used will do!"

After all the silliness we  headed back to Anacortes to catch the 510pm ferry back to beautiful Lopez Island...

The mighty M/V Yakima, flying her colors proudly!
There's a wheelhouse at both ends of every ferry, equipped with the same radar, etc. on both ends.

Leaving Anacortes in our wake for another day...
