Moving at 5.98 knots.
Estimate is to be 10-15nm offshore, possibly pull into marina in Oregon to wait out the rain if it gets heavy. Paul's friend, Craig lives in Oregon (and also has a house in Puerto Rico right on a nice surf break) and the boys may stay with him in Oregon for a day.

I think from about 5:35pm, the guys may not have realized that MAYBE their batteries ran out in the Spot2, or they may have been in an area with no signal possibly due to satellite position, which explains the straight line in between all the tracking icons.
Regardless, they are back online!
9:20pm, 9/15/2011
Moving at 3.89 knots.
Approximately 20 miles out.
Prior to their departure, the agreement was to sail 24 hours/day, doing shifts of 3 hours on/3 hours off.
The Spot Tracking page shows the map in either GoogleMap format (like above) or in GoogleEarth topography (like the first two maps). I will experiment to see which is easier to read on the blog.
Late here in AZ now, going to bed but will update in the morning before my dad takes me to breakky at
IHOP!
Thanks Everyone!
