The good captain, and...
...his trusty first mate!
Cruising out of Fisherman's Bay, we saw some very nice homes!
Paul's dream house, with separate waterfront cottage and boathouse.
Tucked away in the trees overlooking the water.
My little dream cottage!
Heading towards the southeastern end of Shaw Island, we put out the pupus!
View of the cockpit with entryway leading down to the cabin.
Pupus and wine, with my iPhone playing Hawaiian music.
The ferry heading in to Lopez landing.
Looking up the mast, the wind filling in the jib just fine!
Seagulls floating on seaweed with the incoming tide (which peaked at 8 feet!), with a snowy Mount Baker in the background.
Ok, I'm getting cold! After taking this photo, I ended up putting on Paul's red fleece pullover AND the fleece blanket over my legs!
When we got ashore, it was 50 degrees.
The good captain still not feeling the cold like I was, but
it was time to head back in!
Yet another beautiful sunset, this one from the entrance to Fisherman's Bay.
Once anchored, we were treated to a playful harbor seal frolicking off our starboard side.
Clouds in the sunset.
Photo taken just before we got back in the zodiac for the row back to shore and a "Black and Blue Cheeseburger" at the Galley!
Next update: Isla Glassworks!
