Hapa Concert, Friday Harbor: 7/9/2011

AWESOME!  How many times can I say that word to describe the concert?  Barry and Ron are true slack key artists and the crowd loved them and hula dancer He'alii Stanley.  Front-row seats, got to chat with Barry both during intermission and afterwards.  We are extremely appreciative of his generosity and Aloha Spirit!
Anchored overnight just outside the harbor, woke to watch a seal frolicking in the water just off our stern.  Made breakfast, then we motored and anchored inside the harbor and walked around the little shops in Friday Harbor.  Lots of art galleries, a really nice supermarket, West Marine, Napa, Radio Shack, and many cool places to grab a beer and food.  Watched the ferries pull in to unload/load, these vessels are like floating cities!

BBQ'd chicken on the boat, then set our course for Fisherman's Bay on Lopez Island and Jerry, our "most excellent host," who lets us shower, sleep and do laundry.  Mahalo Jerry!
